kdenetwork software package provides networking applications from the official KDE 4 release, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kdenetwork
kdenetwork is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kdenetwork package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kdenetwork *
You will get with kdenetwork package name, version, architecture and description in a table
